Kartell Transparent LED ceiling light Bloom
Description
As brilliant as a crystal: LED ceiling light Bloom by Kartell The innumerable little blossoms made from transparent plastic, or rather thermoplastic technopolymer, together form the spherical lampshade of the ceiling light Bloom. When the light is turned on, the “blossoms” produce a play of light which is reminiscent of that of crystals or glass stones. The model Bloom can be used either as a ceiling light or as a wall light. Ferruccio Laviani, an Italian architect and designer, who works for the Milan-based company Kartell as the Art Director, designed the ceiling light Bloom. The design company Kartell become known as a result of its innovative furniture, lights and articles of daily use made of plastic. Designer pieces, such as the children’s chair K 1340, the lemon squeezer KS1481 or the light 4032 Tic Tac, have been created on behalf of Kartell since the foundation of the company in 1949 and now already rank amongst the modern classics.
