Description
The Kask Protone WG11 Road Cycling Helmet in Matt Black is a pro level helmet used by teams such as Ineos Grenadiers. This isn’t a pure aero helmet, instead it’s got enough ventilation to be used very day along with aero features. With just 215g of weight, Protone has the lowest drag and the fastest heat dissipation coefficients compared to any other ventilated helmet. Thanks to several ventilation holes and a thick padding material, heat and moisture are dissipated very fast, improving comfort and performance without giving up on safety: the top area is reinforced with an internal plastic sub-structure that increases crash protection.KASK use a Multi In-Moulding Technology to create a polycarbonate cover for the top, base ring and the back of the helmet’s shell. This is joined to the inner polystyrene cap via KASK’s In-Moulding Technology to improve the shell’s shock absorption. Its strengthened frame further reduces the risk of a shock breaking the shell.Where other helmet manufacturers use technology like MIPS or Wavecel to deal with rotational impacts Kask test all their helmets to the WG11 standard. The Kask WG11 test is simple, robust, and reliable using impact conditions are based on real accident data.Key FeaturesWG11 tested for protection against rotational forcesPro level lightweight helmet with aero performancePlenty of padding and ventilation to keep your head cool and comfortableMulti in-Moulding Technology for greater strength
