Reimagining the classic shirt silhouette, KENZO presents the ‘Hawaiian’ shirt. Emboldening the figure, sharp lapels span the shoulders, secured with a playful tonal tie detail. This collection was inspired by the female free divers in Japan, known as the “last mermaids” or the “amas”. Paying homage to this, the shirt is decorated all-over with a bold, ocean-inspired, floral print, with blue and green hues set against the cream backdrop. Crafted from a cotton and linen blend, this lightweight material almost flows around the body for a laid-back aesthetic. The short sleeves are slightly elongated for a relaxed fit, while the curved bottom hem is also slightly longer at the rear.
