Kidde Long Life Smoke Alarm
Description
At least one smoke alarm should be installed on each level of the home. The 10Y29 is a compact alarm with optical sensor technology, and 10 years manufacturers warranty, including the battery. It has a sealed-in Lithium battery that lasts the full 10-year life of the alarm. It can be wall-mounted (between 10cm and 30cm from the ceiling) or if ceiling- mounted (at least 10cm from the corner with the nearest wall). The two-screw mounting bracket, and full fitting instructions are included ; very easy to install and set up. A hush button allows nuisance alarms to be temporarily silenced. This alarm is BSI tested and certified to EN14604:2005, CE tested, and is fully tested before leaving the factory.
