This fantastic retro telephone lamp is the perfect addition to your vintage style home office decor. It will sit perfectly on a desk in a study or on a sideboard or side table in a lounge or hallway. Our retro telephone lamps make the perfect gift for all ages but particularly those who remember when we used to take forever to dial any ones number. Imagine the look on their face when they realise that the once iconic black telephone is now also a very useful lamp which can be flexed to use as an accent lamp or used as a reading lamp. We have them available in different colours. This one is concorde blue & cream. These are from our 'Call me old fashioned' Range & made by our very own crazy designer Professor Pat Pending ( Nick my hubby & other half of Ladybird Lane) The technical bit - These have been created from authentic Vintage GPO rotary dial telephones which were no longer working or viable to convert to digital. A flexible chrome goose neck fitting has been secured between the base & the handset to enable a 12V power supply to the handset, complete with led capsule bulb. The lamp is switched on with a low voltage inline switch permanently wired within the telephones case These phones have had all the original internal wiring removed, so no matter how hard you try you can't connect to a landline but the dial does work & your children will be amazed at how long it takes to dial a number on one. Your lamp will come complete with the centre circle printed 'Call Me Old Fashioned' & also with its own 12V power supply. Your lamp will come complete with its own 12V power supply with a 1m cable. For an additional cost we can supply an extension cable of either 1m or 3m giving more flexibility.
