Lalique Noir Premier Plume Blanche 1901 Eau De Parfum 100Ml
Description
It is René Lalique's illustration for the cover of Montesquiou's 1901 book 'Les Paons', a stylized peacock feather, that inspires Plume Blanche. A recurring theme in the artist's bestiary and a quintessential Art nouveau motif, the proud bird often appears in his most spectacular brooches and pendants. With Plume Blanche, the Noir Premier flacon takes on a poetic peacock feather pattern, engraved in white on the golden façade. The flanks of the bottle are in transparent glass, adorned with the collection's iconic cicada wing motif. Created by perfumer Karine Dubreuil-Sereni, Plume Blanche starts out with verdant Violet Leaf and Mandarin at the top, which then give way to a heart of vibrant Pink Peppercorn, Almond Leaves, Jasmine and zesty Cardamom. In the dry-down Benzoin Resin, with its cinnamon and vanilla facets, sits alongside Musks, Heliotrope, White Cedarwood and an ebony backdrop of smooth Tonka Bean and Patchouli, rounding out this Floral-Spicy-Oriental eau de parfum.
