The band was originally formed from the band Burn The Priest in 1990 and recorded As The Places Burn" under the former name. Their first album under the name Lamb of God, "New American Gospel", was quite impressive. The musicians are true geniuses on their instruments, cementing their status with later albums such as "Ashes Of The Wakes", "Sacrament" or the recent "VII: Sturm und Drang".
