Description
The Roth knotting area is located in the Caucasus. The pattern is inspired by geometric patterns from Russia and the wool is dyed with natural vegetable dyes. The carpets are durable and have strong colors. After knotting, they are washed with stones to achieve the special shiny character. Today's Roths are almost always carpets that were knotted in Pakistan or Afghanistan and whose patterns are based on the ancient models of the entire Caucasus region.
