Le Klint Arc floor lamp
Description
The Arc LED floor lamp – a Scandinavian-style arc lamp The Arc LED arc lamp has a harmonious mix of steel and plastic materials as well as a wooden element in bright oak. The colours chosen for this lamp by designers Nanna Neergaard and Marie Hesseldahl are natural colour tones which add warm accents to every room. A characteristic feature of the Arc floor lamp is the bell-shaped lampshade, which with its lamella-like surface looks like Grundtvig's Church in Copenhagen, which inspired it. A wooden arch made of light oak wood runs through the middle of the lampshade and emphasises the Scandinavian style of the light. The lampshade is attached directly to a steel frame in the arch. A round steel base provides a safe stand. The Arc LED floor light fits in perfectly with Scandinavian and modern furnishings. A cable with a switch and a matching LED light bulb are supplied with the light. The Duo Manér Studios, founded by Nanna Neergaard and Marie Hesseldahl, is inspired by tradition and history. They design lamps for the Danish lighting manufacturer LE KLINT, whose founder P. V. Jensen-Klint made LE KLINT world famous for its pleated lampshades. He is also the architect of Grundtvig's Church in Copenhagen, which inspired the design of the Arc lighting series. The manufacturer attaches great importance to tradition and craftsmanship, and all its lamps try to harmoniously combine design and technology without losing the focus on the usefulness of the lamp.
