Carronade pendant light in black with wooden detail It is not difficult to recognise, and the name of the light already gives it away, that the designer Markus Johansson was inspired by ships' cannons when creating the Carronade light series. The Carronade pendant light was created from matt black lacquered steel, brass and solid American walnut wood and is perfect as a single work light, but can also be installed in a group or in a row for table or counter lighting. The lampshade can be adjusted to any angle in the American walnut wood bracket. The furniture and product designer Markus Johansson has already won several awards, including for his Nest chair, which was exhibited at the Museum of Art and Design in New York. Carronade is a modern, new luminaire creation from the Danish designer light manufacturer Le Klint, designed to perfection in the Nordic style. In addition to more recent luminaire creations, such as the Carronade luminaire series with steel lampshades, the company, which was founded in 1943, has made a name for itself with its hand-made folding lampshades, which are still part of the product portfolio today and continue to enjoy great popularity.
