It is equipped with a 120W motor that takes the scooter up to a maximum speed of 7.5mph (12kmh), which is fast enough to enjoy but also to be safe enough for riders 8+ years old. The power is controlled by a handlebar mounted thumb throttle that can be gradually pressed to increase the speed. The 120 Pro has a battery with enough juice for 30-60 minutes of use (6-8km), and a handy battery indicator to alert you of when you need to recharge. The battery can be charged at any point but will only take 2 hours to recharge from flat to full. With its impressive 5” solid rubber tyres, you will have peace of mind on every ride as there are no risks of getting a puncture. Safety-wise the 120 Pro has a push-start system, which means the scooter must be travelling at least 3kmh before the throttle activates to avoid it accidentally being pressed. It also has a rear foot brake which is easy to control and brings the scooter to a stop quickly. Kids grow up fast, so the 120 Pro is fitted with a useful, adjustable handlebar stem to prolong its period of use, and adjusts to a maximum height of 90cm from the ground to suit a variety of ages. Thanks to the scooters robust build it will easily carry a maximum rider weight of up to 50kg. The 120 Pro is IP54 waterproof rated which means it is splash proof however, we do not recommend it is used in the rain.
