Description
Butomus umbellatus 'Schneeweißchen' (Flowering rush) Native to the UK. These flowering gladioli are often found among reed mace, they have narrow twisted leaves and stunning white flowers in umbels rise above the water. The roots used to be crushed and used as food in northern Asia. Perfect for a wildlife pond including dragon flies, frogs, newts and a range of insects including bees. Grown in Lincolnshire.
