Suitable for babies from 40cm it will last until your little one no longer needs a seat at either 150cm or 12 years, whichever comes first! It s the only car seat you will ever need, talk about amazing value for money! It s also tested to the higher R129 testing standard, giving you peace of mind. It also swivels through 360° too making getting your little one in and out really easy!The Expedition fits into your car using a top tether strap and the Isofix points in your car. This gives you a safe and secure fitment without the need for a bulky support leg and it s also perfect for use in cars with under floor storage boxes as these can t be used with a support leg. The seat must be installed with both the top tether and Isofix points until they reach 105cm, after this time when they no longer need to use the harness, you can use either the Isofix points and the car s 3-point-seatbelt or if you are using in a car without Isofix you can just use the seatbelt.When your little is newborn and right up until they reach a minimum of 76cm they will sit in the seat rearward facing. If you can, you should keep them rear facing in their seat until they reach 105cm (which is around 4 years old) as this is widely regarded as the safest way for your little one to travel and is known as extended rear facing. The seat can easily be swivelled to face the door of the car using the handle at the front and it saves stretching in awkward positions to get your child safely in the seat.While they are little, they will use the soft, padded insert along with the padded harness straps. This comfy insert will keep them snug in the seat while they are smaller but as the grow it can be removed. They will continue to use the harness until they reach 105cm (which as a guide is usually around the 4 years old mark). Once they reach this height, it s time to stow the harness away. The harness cleverly stores away behind the cushion on the backrest so there is no chance of you losing it if you want to use for another child. Another great feature is the harness height adjusts automatically when you adjust the headrest to the correct height, so there is no complicated re-threading, and the harness will always be at the correct height.The seat features five recline positions and also has side impact protection which is simple to pop out on the side nearest your car door, to provide even more protection to your child as it absorbs forces before they reach your child.PLEASE NOTE: The Little Rhino Expedition has undergone further testing and the Cuddle You newborn insert has now been certified for use up to 75cm which is different to the 60cm shown on the seat and manual **For further technical information or advice, please email your enquiry to our Child Seat experts - childcarseats@demon-tweeks.com or telephone the team direct on +44 (0)1978 667903 #videocontainer { position: relative; overflow: hidden; width: 100%; padding-top: 56.25%; margin-bottom: 20px; } #videocontainer>iframe { position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; bottom: 0; right: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; }
