Louis Poulsen Keglen floor lamp 3,000 K black
Description
Aesthetically designed floor lamp Keglen - infinitely dimmable The Keglen pendant luminaire was the first luminaire in the Keglen series. It was created in 2017 in collaboration between Louis Poulsen and Jakob Lange of BIG Ideas for the Tirpitz Museum in Blåvand. In the years that followed, it was followed by floor, table and wall luminaires. The architectural design of the luminaire, with its cone-shaped shade made of aluminum and inwardly curved diffuser made of injection-molded polycarbonate, blends harmoniously with many modern interior design options and provides glare-free ambient lighting. The light is emitted directly downwards, but a small part also radiates indirectly upwards through an opening in the shade. This creates a very cozy lighting atmosphere. A switch on the base allows the light to be dimmed continuously and adjusted to personal needs. The setting selected before the light is switched off is retained after the light is switched on again, thanks to the built-in memory function. However, the dimming function can also be switched off completely via the switch. Then the light shines at full strength until the dimming function is activated again. The Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen stands since 1874 for design products of the highest quality. Its designs are created with regard to the Scandinavian design principle "form follows function" as well as with the conviction that passionate craftsmanship forms the basis for high-quality lighting solutions and appealing designs.
