Description

This gorgeous scrub top pine table is engrained with character & ready to be the heart of a new home. It is solidly made, standing on nicely turned legs & has a cutlery drawer with original bun handle. The pine top is wonderfully smooth from age & full of character. I have sanded this back & used three coats of wax to preserve it & create a natural finish. It still has age marks & dints but these are part of its beauty. The legs & apron I have painted using vintage chalk paint in Mousse grey, sealed with clear & dark wax to create a suitably aged finish. I have lined the drawer with oil cloth which can easily be removed. The table is shown here with a set of four elm high back chairs which are listed for sale separately. Beautiful addition to a traditional or contemporary dining space. The table measures 119 cm wide, 89 cm deep & stands 76 cm tall. I am based in Cheshire & you are welcome to collect in person or arrange your own courier. Alternatively I can offer you a price from a reliable & careful courier I use regularly.
