Maison Margiela’s low top trainers are part of the Replica concept, a collection of garments from around the world reproduced with the brand’s vision. The sneakers are inspired by 1970s men’s sports shoes from Austria and are marked with its provenance and period in a label stitched inside the shoe. The smooth suede and leather trainers are set on a gum rubber sole. The brand’s numerical logo is embossed on the tongue with ‘22’ circled, denoting line 22’s collection of shoes and footwear.
