Maison Margiela collaborates with sportswear giant, Reebok, to rework their classic 1985 Club C tennis shoe. The smooth red leather uppers are designed using tromp l’oeil, a forced perspective illusion that replaces the original perforations with printed strokes, resembling tailors chalk. They retain the sporty rubber outsoles and are complete with house branding. Upper: Leather. Midsole: EVA. Outsole: Rubber.
