All pieces are food proof, items with gold details are best to wash by hand, as gold and other precious metals will wear off in long run, when washed in dishwasher. Avoid abrasive soaps and detergents containing citrus scents or additives. Pieces with gold accents are not suitable for the microwave. All pieces, that has no details with gold are dishwasher and microwave proof.
