Our Regularised Carcassing Timber is precision-machined with consistent dimensions, planed on all sides for a smooth finish, and features eased (rounded) corners to ensure comfortable handling. After planing, the timber finishes 2mm below its nominal thickness and 5mm below its nominal width, providing accuracy in application. Treated with high-pressure Tanalith 'E' (or equivalent), it offers superior protection against rot, decay, and insects. Kiln drying enhances the timber's stability and straightness, minimizing the risk of warping or twisting. Available in strength grades C16 and C24, this timber is ideal for structural performance. For long-term durability, its essential to re-seal all cut ends with a proprietary treatment.
