These carpets are hand-knotted in Mashad. They often have a large, centrally placed medallion of beautiful floral motifs, a typical oriental motif. The medallion is in dark blue-red and blue shades and the wool of the carpet is very soft. The Maschad carpets are often reminiscent of some of the Keshan carpets. The durable Mashad rug is very pithy and sturdy. It is perfect for daily use. An eye-catcher in all four walls!
