The Norwell crockery is made of high-quality, fine porcelain China, a material which contains approximately 4- to 5% iron-oxide free ash from cow bones. The crockery is dishwasher-safe. While the bone ash content makes fine China comparable to bone China in a way, fine china crockery is coated with fine, cream-coloured and delicate, translucent shards which gives it a pleasant and light quality, as well as a very soft feel.
