Description
Dakota Fields Compared to conventional plant soil, coconut soil has special properties that encourage the better formation of roots and shoots. As a result, the root ball doesn't harden when the plant is watered. This lets more oxygen reach the roots, allowing for better root aeration. This prevents mould from growing so the plant lives longer. The loose coconut soil can be used immediately and doesn't have to swell first. It's structurally stable and inhibits the growth of mould. This means the coconut soil retains its airy structure for as long as possible. On the other hand, normal soil doesn't possess these properties and collapses in on itself. As a result, the plant roots no longer receive a sufficient supply of oxygen and the plant atrophies rapidly. Pressed coconut soil has been pressed into a square block, and with the addition of approximately 25 to 30 L of water, swells to around 70 L of fine coconut potting soil. The coconut soil provides the perfect environment for root and shoot formation, and has very good water retention properties too. As a result, the plant doesn't need to be watered as frequently. This means your plants suffer less drought stress, producing higher yields and more flowers. Simply place the unpacked block in a bucket or wheelbarrow. Then add about 25 to 30 L of water. After about 30 minutes, the coconut soil will have swollen and can then be mixed by hand.
