Description
Tartan trousers, or trews, are perfect gentleman's occasion-wear, and our Bruar-designed men's tartan trousers have become a bestselling piece.
These trousers are available in a range of beautiful Scottish tartans, some time-honoured patterns and some that take a historical base and bring in a refreshingly modern colour palette. All our tartan fabrics are authentic tartans woven from pure new wool in British woollen mills. We've tailored these trews in a contemporary and flattering cut, with side pockets, a rear welt pocket, belt loops and built in turn-ups.
Traditional tartan trews. Two hook-and-bar and one button fastened waistband with zip fly. Five belt loops. Side pockets and rear welt pocket. Flattering contemporary cut. Half lined to front knee. Built-in turn up feature. Designed by The House of Bruar.
Always a more practical alternative to traditional kilts, tartan trousers have been growing in popularity for formal events like weddings, banquets and award ceremonies for gentlemen of all ages. They are also a great piece for less formal evening events, looking superb with an open-necked evening shirt to show off your love of Scottish tradition.
Team with matching tartans and velvets for the ultimate formal look:
Men's Double Breasted Plaid Waistcoat.
Single Breasted Velvet Jacket.
