DuPont Kevlar is a heat-resistant and strong synthetic fibre which is highly cut/abrasion resistant. DuPont Kevlar is used in a variety of clothing, accessories, and equipment to help make them safer and more durable. With five times the strength of steel based on an equal weight basis, it s the go-to fibre for protective apparel and accessories. The Hoody also has a drawcord Collar and a relaxed / comfort it.For rider protection, CE certified Level 1 armour has been pre-fitted (CE compliance to EN1621) in the Shoulders and Elbows, and there is a pocket for a Back Protector to be added if required.YKK zips have been used throughout, including on the Jacket to Jean connection zip for use with Merlin Riding Pants / Jeans. Additional features include understated Merlin branding, Cotton ribbed Hem and Cuffs for additional comfort, and two zipped lower pockets and internal storage pockets for all your essentials.
