LED table lamp AYNO with tiltable frame and dimmerThe concept of steerable light goes back to the engineer Curt Fischer (1890 - 1956), who founded the lighting manufacturer midgard. This company is still active today as a manufacturer of high-quality luminaires "Made in Germany".The AYNO series is a modern interpretation of the idea of steerable light and at the same time the first complete redesign by midgard since the 1950s. German industrial designer Stefan Diez, already active for numerous renowned companies and as a professor of design and creation at various universities, is responsible for the concept of the AYNO luminaire series.The characteristic structure is limited to a round base and a vertical frame arm made of steel, a flexible arm made of fiberglass and a cone-shaped shade made of recycled polycarbonate/ABS plastic with LED, whose light is diffused by a structured cover. The high-quality LED module (CRI ≥ 95) can be easily removed in case of defect (bayonet catch). The plug-in cable with dimmer switch is inserted directly at the shade and is attached to the steel frame and fiberglass arm with two sliding adjustment rings. The latter is initially vertical due to its inherent tension. Depending on the positioning of the adjustment rings, the textile cable can be brought into tension so that the boom tilts in an arc shape.
