Miscanthus (Grass) Indian Summer 9cm Pot x 1
Description
An excellent hardy perennial low maintenance Miscanthus shrub, perfect to display in mixed borders or gavel garden. This reliable and sturdy ornamental grass puts a great exhibit, with dusky orange foliage and topped with soft feathery flowers which look magnificent from season to season. You can expect this charming perennial to produce gorgeous dainty blooms in Sunny August. Height: 150cm (59in). Spread: 60cm (24in). Grow Miscanthus grass in fertile, moist, well drained soil in full sun. Miscanthus Grass may resent soils that sit wet in winter. Prior to planting, improve drainage on particularly heavy soils by incorporating plenty of well rotted compost and grit. Feed and water Miscanthus plants regularly until fully established. Cut back dead foliage and stems to ground level in early spring before new growth appears. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Miscanthus grass every third year to maintain their vigour.
