Inspired by the Swiss watch manufacturer’s Minerva heritage and the pocket watches produced during the late 19th century, the Montblanc Star Legacy watch collection is home to some of the brand’s highest-end watches outfitted with full manufacture movements. This Montblanc Star Legacy Chronograph Day Date watch is no exception, delivering classic Swiss watchmaking complications alongside a stylish aesthetic perfectly fitting for a luxury dress watch. At its centre, the Montblanc Star Legacy Chronograph Day Date watch houses the Calibre MB 25.07 automatic winding movement which alongside a frequency of 28,800vph provides 25 jewels and a power reserve of 48 hours. The central hands for hours, minutes and chronograph seconds, day and date window at 3 o’clock and three subsidiary dials for small seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours are presented on an exploding silvery-white guilloche dial with rose gold Arabic numerals and Superluminova coated leaf-shaped hands. To protect the Swiss manufacture within and provide a water resistant rating of 30 metres, the 43mm stainless steel case is equipped with a non-screw onion-shaped crown decorated with the famous Montblanc star emblem and domed sapphire crystal glass, a material famed for its scratch resistance and anti-reflective coating. The Montblanc men’s watch also presents a fixed steel bezel and a classic three-row link stainless steel bracelet with polished and brushed finishing.
