Attract birds to the garden with the RHS flower mix for birds. Created to provide an useful resource for birds with annual flowers and grasses providing nutritious seeds for a long season. Seed mixed with buckwheat husks to aid sowing. It makes for an ideal fillers for any gaps in the border. Easy to plant with three steps: Scatter, Rake, Awake. Scatter: Shake box well, then carefully tear open the tab at the side. April to June, sow outdoors where they are to flower. Shake out the seed mix gently and evenly, directly onto finely prepared soil. Rake: Lightly rake over the seed bed to cover the seeds. Awake: Water well with a fine spray. Thin out if plants become overcrowded. Water well until plants are established. Flowers from June to October. For a continuous display make several sowings at two to three week intervals.
