Nepeta Nervosa Blue Moon 1 Seed Packet
Description
Nepeta Nervosa 'Blue Moon produces beautiful spikes of delicate violet-purple blooms, that will brighten up any spot in your beloved garden! You can expect to be amazed by the displays from June through to September, where you will have plenty of visitors (pollinating insects!) As well as growing in cottage gardens and wildlife areas, the neat dwarf flowers can be used for indoor cut flower displays! Sowing Time: February to June or September to October. Sow into pots or trays of moist seed compost and cover seed with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Keep at a temperature of between 15-20C (59-68F). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination usu-ally takes 7-21 days. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Gradually acclima-tise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12in) apart. Prefers any ordinary, well-drained soil in full sun.
