As easy to install as a garden light, this device will automatically detect movement from people, cars and animals and the floodlight will turn on. Not only does this effectively light up the area of your choice but it will send you a notification to your smartphone so you can then check the perimeter through the video link. Presence and Welcome users can now ask Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit to show them in real time what's happening in their home on a Chromecast-equipped TV ("Ok Google, show me the garden camera on my TV"). Google Assistant can also turn on the Presence camera's floodlight with a simple voice command ("Ok Google, turn on the garden light"). Netatmo launched an automatic software update that will make the security cameras compatible with Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit. The update will benefit all Presence and Welcome cameras.
