Built around a tapered directional shape, its combination of slightly larger nose and 5mm narrower tail delivers the perfect balance of off-piste float and on-piste carving. Complementing this innovative shape is the Vario Power Grip sidecut. Formed by combining a deeper sidecut in front of the insert packs with a shallow sidecut under the feet and a straight section in the centre, it increases pressure into the most critical parts of the edges adding control and response in all conditions.Profile: Fusion Rocker Camber Key to the Westbound's all-terrain versatility is the Shaper Series specific Fusion Rocker Camber profile. This overall rocker profile blends an extended transition area in the front of the board with traditional camber under the front foot and a more aggressive Ripsaw Camber under the back foot. Now to ensure that the Westbound can take maximum advantage of this high-end core, it utilises a combination of Bi-Lite fibreglass with the responsive Recluse Web carbon layup on both the upper and lower layers. This combination creates that classic progressive flex that Never Summer boards are renowned for, but on those days when you want to charge, the carbon is going to deliver all the power and control you could ever need. That smooth, progressive ride is then further enhanced with the combination of RDS 2 Dampeners and elastomeric Underfoot Stabilizers.
