Description
Experimentalism is right at the very core of New Balance’s Tokyo Design Studio, and the latest from the off-shoot — named the Niobium Concept 2 — certainly follows suit. They’re part sandal, part sneaker, with mesh and synthetic suede — that’re panelled like retro runners — paired with utility straps and a collapsible heel. The sole is of note, too — it features the same Vibram® unit found on the Fresh Foam Hierro, which is designed to provide cushioning and grip over unforgiving terrain.
