19th Century reading table with adjustable height & reading angle. 2 Reading stands that rise up. Alongside are 2 removable holding bars so that the table has a level surface when not in use. Lovely Victorian design around the base of the leg & feet, this is subtle, yet the design emphasises the shape & sturdiness of the table. Good condition with only age related wear & some missing moulding (as shown) Circa 1840, made from mahogany, originating from the UK.
