The Jordan 9 TD “University Gold” is the toddler sizing of Michael Jordan’s ninth signature shoe in the colorway that was released in January 2021. The “University Gold” shares similarities in design with the Jordan 9 “Citrus” that debuted in July 2010. Like the “Citrus,” the “University Gold” applies a predominantly neutral style with subtle pops of orange, or in this case, yellow. The rest of the “University Gold” displays a black synthetic nubuck construction with perforations along the medial and lateral sides of the shoe. A grey synthetic nubuck mudguard appears above the black midsole. Jordan Brand adds gold accents to the liner, pull tab, and “Jordan” branding on the tongue. The same bright shade of yellow can be found on the embroidered “23” branding on the heel and Jumpman insignia on the sole. A mini “globe” emblem on the back of the shoe completes the look.
