Description
Nike's future-proof silhouette from 1987; the Air Max 1 was one of Tinker Hatfield's original masterworks for the Beaverton label. While this shoe wasn't the first to boast Air technology, it was one of the first to showcase a visible Air unit in the sole, letting the technology become important for the aesthetic, as well as solely for comfort. This design process was inspired by an unconventional building in Paris - a city with strong links to the trainer. Entitled after the French capital - translated to the 'City of Light - this trainer is a homage to the city that inspired this iconic Nike lineage. Spring-ready, it opts for head-turning colour-shifting overlays, with flexible mesh panels and creamy suede overlays for added protection. Air cushioning carries this icon. DQ9326-100
