Description
The Nike Air Max 95 “Recycled Wool” is a January 2021 release of the iconic performance running shoe in an eco-friendly construction. The “Recycled Wool” edition of the Air Max 95 is one of several Air Max models to receive an update in design using sustainable materials as part of Nike’s efforts in reducing its carbon footprint. Keeping a predominantly black, neutral-based look, the “Recycled Wool” displays upcycled wool fabric on the middle wavy panel that appears on both sides of the shoe. Black mesh contrasts the look on the top of the shoe underneath the eyelets. Wavy black leather panels can be found beneath the wool detailing. A neon green contrast stitch breaks up the shadowy look on either side and a neon green Swoosh is embroidered on the collar. Black rope laces with white speckling are layered over the wool tongue. Neon green-tinted visible Air bubbles appear in the forefoot and heel of the cream rubber midsole. The outsoles feature the same Nike regrind material found on the design of the outsoles of the brand’s Space Hippie collection. Release date: January 7, 2021
