Description
The Nike Air Max 96 II “Goldenrod” is a classic look for the retro performance running shoe that was reissued for the first time since 1996 in 2021. One of the more slept-on models in Nike’s Air Max pantheon, the Air Max 96 II received its first-ever retro release in 2021. The “Goldenrod” features a Midnight Navy mesh base with contrasting white leather overlays. Goldenrod yellow accenting comes into play on the synthetic nubuck detailing found on both sides and around the Swoosh. Old school “Air Max” branding is embroidered on the Midnight Navy tongue. The Air Max 96 II dons a similar midsole to the famous Air Max 95, with visible Air bubbles arranged in the heel and forefoot. Release date: April 2, 2021
