The Nike Air Max 98 “Racer Blue/White-Black” is an anything-but-subtle colorway of the late-90s performance running sneaker from Nike. Taking the styling of its predecessor up a notch, the Air Max 98 uses a similarly layered wave aesthetic that includes a mud synthetic mid-panel that is contrasted by a volt-outlined white embroidered Swoosh. Blue overlays accent the white mesh based upper that appears around the eyelets and collar. Air branding covers the heel while a black mudguard sits above a white midsole. As with all Air Max 98 models, a full-length Max Air cushioning unit looks every bit as sharp today as it did when it debuted back in ‘98.
