Nike celebrates the 30th anniversary of the iconic Air Max 90 by taking it back to the beginning, in name, construction and colourway. It’s back as the Air Max III, the name with which it first debuted, and it dons its original and most beloved colourway, too. We all know it as infrared, but that’s not the case here. Nor was it in 1990. Instead, it’s radiant red, but the vibrant hue still sits in all the usual places — the midsole cassette, the bottom eyelets and the heart-shaped heel plaque — to accent the classic black, white and grey base.
