The first track shoe to be created by Nike, the Cortez marked a significant milestone in the world of footwear. Designed by Bill Bowerman in 1968, it was introduced to the general public after its success with the US running team at the '72 Munich Olympics. This season Nike presents the Classic Cortez Leather for women, featuring a white leather construction, with black Swoosh branding to the side walls and the heel.
