British designer Samuel Ross is turning their attention to Nike’s classic Air Max Plus sneakers, which have been reimagined with A-COLD-WALL*’s minimalist design codes in mind. Sean McDowell’s original 1998 creation has been updated, arriving in premium leather and translucent panels - rather than mesh - and sporting an understated, monochromatic colour palette. Reworked Nike emblems include the pared back Swooshes at the sidewall, surrounded by cut-out square details. These sleek sneakers feature A-COLD-WALL* shoutouts throughout, including on the Nike Air Max Plus badges on the tongues and at the lower heels, in celebration of this revolutionary collaboration.
