Description
Nike's renowned runner, the Waffle Racer, first made its mark at the 1972 Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon and in 1977 they were released in bulk to the public. Now, the Waffle Racer evolves even more; still featuring elements from the 1977 model, it has been reimagined in-line with Nike's Move to Zero campaign. This release boasts a futuristic appearance with at least 20% recycled materials, including a standout Crater Foam midsole which is made with 10% Nike Grind rubber and a speckled outsole offering glue-like grip. The pair's uppers are made from a mixture of suede and recycled twill and feature stitched-on Swooshes down the sidewalls that loop round to the heel branding. CT1983-701
