Although the main aim is to provide entertainment, we have not forgotten about safety, as the structure is equipped with wide-stepped stairs and uses solid wood to ensure no splinters while riding the slide. The Sofie mid sleeper with slide bed is available in a single continental mattress configuration, and we recommend no more than a 16cm thick mattress for this product for safety reasons.
