An external DWR (Durable Water Resistant) treatment also prevents light rain and showers from soaking through. Heat-regulation is also excellent, the membrane allowing sweat to escape before you feel the chill of sweat on the skin. When there are training miles to be done, poor weather is no longer an issue. As mentioned above, the fit of the jacket has been improved. The ergonomic design now offers more flexibility and lets you move about your bike with greater ease. The ergonomically shaped collar is still present too, blocking out cold winds and sleek wrist cuffs provide a secure seal against the elements. Rides that roll through ever-changing terrain, from stiff uphills to swooping downhills will soon see you building up a sweat but the full-length front zipper allows easy control of ventilation so you can match effort levels with airflow. To the back, three pockets, plus a zipped central pocket, makes space for all your essentials and the full reflective border across the pocket area keeps you visible when the sun disappears below the horizon.
