Our groundbreaking, patent pending, Sunflower Wax Candle™ has a unique formula consisting of sunflower wax and organic, fair trade coconut oil. It is a superior, natural alternative to soy because it is winterized, not hydrogenated with hexane. The process of winterization is simple: the oil is cooled and the wax is skimmed off the top. It is completely natural and there are no chemicals or petrochemicals used in the process. There is no other candle like it. We present them in hand blown glassware. Fragrance them with natural essential oils, and finish with four organic cotton wicks. This glassware has been hand blown, with no mould, by pre-eminent British, master craftsman, Stewart Hearn. Each piece, an original work of art and limited edition. Velvet Nuit | Rose & Musk Seed THE ART OF BURNING Always wait until the candle has reached a full melt pool before extinguishing the flame. This will allow for an even burn, with no tunnelling. To extinguish the flame, it is recommended that you dip the wick into the melted wax and reposition the wicks vertically to their initial position. To avoid smoke, do not blow out the flame. Our organic cotton wicks ‘self-trim’ as they burn, but if they do get longer than 1/4 inch, it is recommended that they are trimmed to avoid smoking. 5mm is the optimum size. Never place a lit candle in a draught. It should be placed on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Keep the candle out of reach of children and pets. Never leave a lit candle unattended and never let it burn for more than four hours at a time. Do not move your candle when lit or when the wax is still liquid. Never burn the last 1/2 inch of wax.
