Description
The Emund Dining Chair is named after an early Swedish king for its impressive, thronelike appearance and natural materials. The chair is constructed by hand from mindi wood painted black with a satin finish, its seat and backrest woven from seagrass. This rush weaving is a technique that dates back to Anglo-Saxon times and is believed to be East Anglia's oldest recorded industry. Due to the artisanal techniques and natural materials used, each piece will have individual characteristics that add to their charm.
