The Ribbon Ring is a handmade, wearable sculpture. A strip of brass has been skilfully folded into an unfurling ribbon that swirls in the air. It's an artful statement that's fun and easy to wear. It's made of 100% brass so has a gorgeous golden glow and is affordable. It's adjustable so you can choose a different finger for different outfits. Pair it with The Ribbon Bracelet. We will supply you with a wax and polishing cloth that you can use to keep your brass looking bright. To adjust the size just squeeze the arms around your finger. Made with recycled Brass, which may not suit all skin types. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc and can tarnish over time, this is due to the copper portion of the metal reacting to air and moisture, a process known as oxidation. This can result in greenish or blueish hues on jewellery. We coat our pieces with a wax to keep tarnishing and irritation to a minimum. We also supply you with a small amount of wax and a cloth so that you can upkeep the shine. Just apply the wax all over, leave for 5 minutes and rub off in a circular motion with the polishing cloth. Store your brass pieces in a cloth pouch, avoid wearing them in water and be careful with lotions and creams that can further tarnish the surface.
