Oris Aquis Date Calibre 400 Mens Watch 400 7763 4135-07Originally founded in 1904 in the village of Hölstein, Switzerland, Oris has a heritage of over a 100 years and is one of the few Swiss watch brands to still be independently run. Originally created over five years ago Oris Calibre 400 is an entirely new movement, independently conceived by Oris, and sets the new standard for automatic mechanical movements. Moreover, because it’s an Oris calibre, every detail has been scrutinised to ensure the highest possible quality at the best possible price. Around the world, the Aquis is recognised as an icon of contemporary diver’s watch design. This new Oris Aquis Date Calibre 400 400 7763 4135-07 has a number of differences to the standard model. A 43.5mm stainless steel case hosts a vibrant blue dial featuring a new black date dial rather than the original white. On the reverse, the sapphire case back is the largest we’ve ever installed in an Aquis Date, so the view into the movement is as open as it can be. It’s also equipped with Oris’s newest patented development, the Quick Strap Change system, engineered so a bracelet or strap can be released simply by lifting a flap - no tools or jeweller required.
