This mug was thrown on the wheel. The checkerboard pattern in stamped in. The recessed areas are the natural speckled color of the clay, & the rest is glazed a satin matte black. Roomy handle. A fun texture as well as pattern! Dishwasher & microwave safe. Made with love & stoneware clay. All my pieces are handmade & unique. The photos may not reflect the actual item you will receive.
