‘A Beautiful Jigsaw’ is a unique silk pocket square inspired by the iconic Vulcan aircraft. It is the result of a collaboration with leading aviation artist David Bent. David’s original photocollage used for the design was created following his invitation to see Vulcan XH558 during its restoration. XH558 entered service in 1960 and was the last remaining Vulcan in the RAF when retired in 1993. Printed in Macclesfield England, the artwork is reproduced with a good balance of colour between the printed & reverse sides of the silk pocket square to work perfectly with any fold. The image is framed by the pale yellow border and grey hand-rolled & hand-sewn hem. It is a full-size pocket square (42 x 42cm). 'A Beautiful Jigsaw' comes tissue-wrapped in a complimentary Otway & Orford gift box. High-quality 100% Mulberry silk is woven into 15oz silk twill to give the characteristic sheen and cool touch as well as to ensure that the pocket square sits nicely in the top pocket. Silk should always be dry cleaned. Avoid pressing the hand-sewn hem to preserve its distinctive 'shoestring' shape. Made in England.
